Once we had finished the video once we
viewed it to peers and teachers to get feedback. Positive comments from peers
gave us more confidence to do better however constructive criticism from
teacher helped pin point specific areas in which we needed more work on. Peers
that weren't into the genres didn't’t enjoy it as well as people who were
into the genre. Also negative questionnaires feedback and Facebook comments helped us patch up our
mistakes. Feedback helps you understand peoples view point on your product and
this helped me getting a better understanding of what people expect from a Rap
music video.
Comments made it easy to understand which parts of the video we done well and which parts we needed work on. What I did was every time I made a big change to the video I would present the original and the changed to a member of my target audience and ask for their feedback. Then depending on whether the feedback is negative or positive I would either keep the changes I made for revert back to the original.
